Who we are
Vrai Media is a media account based in Ireland that interviews people about their real-life experiences. We are responsible for the information you share through this form. You can reach us at vraimedia.ie@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your full name, email address, age range, location in Ireland, social media handle (if you give one), the category and text of your story, whether you have images or videos, your answers about filming and anonymity, and your two confirmations at the end of the form. Your story may also contain sensitive details, such as information about your health, beliefs or relationships, if you choose to include them.
Do you have to give this information?
Your name, email address, age range, location, story and the answers to the other questions are needed for us to consider your story. Your Instagram or TikTok is optional. If you prefer not to give the required information, we will not be able to review your submission.
Why we collect it
Only to read your story, decide whether it could be a fit for an interview, and contact you about it. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box at the end of the form. For any sensitive details you include in your story, this is your explicit consent. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; this does not affect anything we did with your information before you withdrew it.
Who can see it
Only the Vrai Media team. Your answers reach us through the email and form services we use to receive submissions, which handle them on our behalf. Nothing about you or your story is made public without your agreement.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it to consider your story and stay in touch with you about it. If your story is not selected, or if you ask us to, we delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object to how we use it, and to receive it in a format you can reuse. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to vraimedia.ie@gmail.com and we will reply.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the data protection authority in Ireland, at dataprotection.ie.

None. Every story is read by a person on our team. No software decides whether your story is selected.

Who can take part
You must be 18 or over to send a story.
Sending a story
Sending this form does not guarantee an interview or a publication. We read every submission and contact you by email if your story is a fit.
Your story
You confirm that your story is true, based on your own experience, and yours to share. Please do not include private details about other people that they would not want shared.
Before anything is published
Nothing is filmed or published without your agreement. If we go ahead with an interview, we agree with you beforehand on how you will appear, including anonymity or a pseudonym if you asked for it.
